Live-action "Cowboy Bebop" confirmed, Keanu Reeves to star Options

Anime News Network has picked up on official confirmation that the live-action "Cowboy Bebop" film is moving forward. Sunrise, the animation studio responsible for the original anime, is working with 20th Century Fox and 3 Arts Entertainment to develop the movie.

As previously reported, producer Erwin Stoff is attached to the project. Actor Keanu Reeves, who worked with Stoff in "A Scanner Darkly" and "The Matrix," has signed on to star as Spike Spiegel.

Just because Cowboy Bebop was made in Japan it doesn't mean that the characters are all Japanese.

Both Bill and Ted movies were awesome.

On topic, I don't mind Keanu Reeves being cast as Spike. If the movie sucks it won't be because of him.

I think that the problem with Keanu Reeves is that he doesn't show any expression, he show the same face in a scene of love than in a scene of action XD

Spike is a character with a lot of expressions, they may look for another actor I think.

But well, everybody thinks the same with Dragon Ball and just see that they done

Linda manera de seguir rompiendo buenas series. La maquina de hacer remakes no para y no sabe de donde robar. Espero que se den cuenta a tiempo y dejen de hacer estas cosas o que la gente se de cuenta y no la consuma.
