I have no words to say how touched I'm with all this Mark, this is beyond amazing. I hope the president and all the people of HEARJAPAN read this, because I'd like to thank them as much as I want to thank you. Please be assured that X Boards will support this a 100%, and we will help in everything we can. I will start working in a banner and some other stuff to help make this kind act gain the most credibility, and brainstorm on how to show its transparency. Talking for myself, I can say that Mark (inxxane) is incredibly honest and one of the best persons I've met, and I would put my hands in fire for him anytime, but we need to show others who don't know him how reliable all this will be, so allow us to work it up a little more!

I'm in.
I've known Mark for.. i dunno. 6 years maybe? I could be wrong but I could have sworn it was me who pushed him in the J-Rock direction.. if not, I'm pretty sure it was me who at least recommended X JAPAN to him :D Honest, Trustworthy, Reliable and Sexy (I'm not gay, honest). I wouldnt put my hand in a fire for him, as I would no longer be able to touch myself, but rest assured he is awesome.
edit: when does the money have to be in by? Has a date been set?

Thank you Pan. I am not a professional at these sort of thing, but all my intentions are honest and heartfelt. This is not the only effort I established to raise money. Together with the raffle I have uploaded a torrent to dimeadozen, where every snatch will result in a $1 donation. I've started to sell a few items in my regular Market Place topic that will also benefit the victims. And every bootleg trade I make (that is initiated by the other party) from now until the end of the month will see $10 donated to appropriate organisations as well. So even if this raffle fails, which I sincerely hope it does not, a significant amount will have been raised to help Japan's affected areas in a way. QUOTE (BizKiTRoAcH @ Mar 13 2011, 06:17 PM) I've known Mark for.. i dunno. 6 years maybe? I'm pretty sure it's from before 2002 even. I remember new years eve in #boobs with Reiko very well, that's why I know it's 2002 or before. So it's at least 9 years man! Yes, you pushed me into it. With Endless Rain I believe.

Thank you everyone for donating! I updated the website in both spanish and english, and gave out some more details. As the website says, all donations are forwarded directly and immediately to the proper organizations. There's no delay or waiting time for the moment you give out your money. So your donation to these institutions (and Japanese people) is instant. Thanks all again, and keep participating!

An update: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/japan...relief/updates/Contributors received this, forwarded, in their inbox. I just realized this is something moral. The prizes aren't gigantic or anything so it's not that apparent, but I realize now that if you tell more people about this your chances decrease while more money is raised in reward, if they decide to participate. And conversely if you don't tell anyone your chances are the best, with less money being donated. Mar 21, 2011 http://www.myfoxdc.com/dpp/mornings/what-d...1103_emailshareThe organization Global Giving helps to raise funds for charitable groups and helps disperse donations to areas in crisis, such as Japan. John Hecklinger, chief program officer at Global Giving, joined us with what people there need the most. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeWP40L7lB8Mari Kuraishi - Co-Founder and President of GlobalGiving - speaks about the fundraising efforts being coordinated by her non-profit organization in support of Japan.

The amount on that list is a bit more because it includes all my own donations as well. UPDATE from GlobalGiving: http://www.globalgiving.org/projects/respo...RF=progrept7723

Just in case, final results are here: http://www.xrdnet.com/aidjapan/ Japan had another earthquake recently, but thankfully nothing as bad. But these guys still need a ton of help.
