Thanks for all your answers guys, they really helped me in developing more of a differentiated opinion on this matter!
Anyway, I have another probably useless question concerning audio quality of X / X Japan lives: I think we all love the "on the verge of destruction" concert. Still, in my opinion the official release sounds kind of "bad" in relation to other lives such as "Returns" or "The Last Live" (which really has the richest sound I believe). For me it's always like they play at the end of a big underground cave; the guitars sound kinda sluggish and the low notes (of bass and guitar) dominate too much. Is it because the audio engineering wasn't perfected for Tokyo Dome at that time? Or some other cause? Different acoustics? Even the bootleg of their very first Tokyo Dome concert sounds "stronger" (especially the excellent "Stab Me in the Back")
And on a sidenote, the Kyoto sports valley gig would've been perfect if Pata's guitar was actually audible...on the other hand, it adds a different feel to some of the songs.

I got a question to ask in many articles about X I read long long time ago, it always said that back then rock music was never get into television n stuffs in Japan ... so then, how bands like LOUDNESS, Show-Ya, Seikima-II etc got the big name? it always said that X changed how things goes, even YOSHIKI Biography stated the same things too ... n it always said that many live-houses rejected X to play, so how they really did find a way to play? are there just some live house that allow them to play? or how? I don't (really) know things about Japanese music scene back then at the 80s, so I ask you guys here because I know there's a lot of people here who really know/ into stuffs like this so, can anyone give me any enlightenment? I'm sorry if my words hard to understand :]

I have never believed that... I have seen a few Loudness videos on youtube taken from TV shows in 1985 (aprox) and even a few Malmsteen/Gillan/Purple/Kiss videos from the 80s (and even the 70s) also on japanese TV... Perhaps Yoshiki was talking about VK going to TV instead of rock/metal music... To me (in my personal point of view) tv stations started to broadcast rock/metal stuff because basically the 80s was the decade when the metal went more mainstream than ever...

Same case as Death Magnetic and Michael Jackson's Remaster 1994 Live is far more better

I wanted to ask permission to Pan if I can disclose this date 30 years of the band internet Sorry, got mixed up. I thought I was during Spring 1982, but it was during Summer 1982. Summer in Japan is during June, July and August. Anyone found an exact date on Yoshiki's biography or something?

QUOTE (xfansd @ Jun 13 2012, 05:27 AM) Was this an official release or is it a fake? here I think it's a bootleg, time ago a Yahoo auction user even included his 2 tickets from 1992.01.06 show on it... for only $20, not $500.
