HUUUGE update!!

First of all, some stuff arrived between November and December:

(the thing on the left is a cassette tape ^^)

From Zoom Lens Label

And now, my music purchases in Tokyo! This is an overview, I think it's around 20 kg of music ah ah ah:

And now all the stuff in detail:

I think I never saw this Paranoia poster before, but I could have forgotten about it (I discovered it inside the sleeve only when I got back home ah ah):

In the enka music market they still print and release cassette tapes! Those three on the top were published just some months ago. There's a shop at Nakano Broadway that sells hundreds of them. Amazing.

Music bought at concerts, events and street lives:

I went to some concerts and the highlights had been the one with Hatsune Kaidan (the new project of Jojo from Hijokaidan), Optrum (a duo formed by an amazing jazz drummer and a guy that plays a neon tube!! I already knew about them and I finally saw them live! hyper.gif ), Tako (old crazy weird band) and two other bands I didn't knew before (one of them is an hc punk band with two pole dancers ah ah). The best event I saw in 2013! Totally crazy!

Presents from a Japanese friend I finally had the chance to meet (at his label's booth inside the huge Comic Market):

Oh and this is a present from a Japanese girl I know:

Sorry for the long post!

So... when you mentioned about 20 kg of music, you really meant a 20 kg suitcase full of this stuff? brinco.gif I've never bought so much material during any of my travels, gosh!

P.S. respect for the enka cassette tapes cool.gif

Got my hide CD today. One of the original First Press Editions of Ja Zoo :D

Outside & Inside of the Digipak...

After looking at it, and comparing it to pics I've seen on YJA... there must be
more than 2 versions. On mine, this photo is on the back of the Digipak...

But, on this other one, a photo of hide is on the back.
http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img341.auctions....rov3yl17127.jpg

There's also another version with this cover...
http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img251.auctions....0c2lkgn5971.jpg

Instead of the magnifying glass with the blue sky & field, its solid leopard print with the circular cut-out.

That version, I believe, has a different picture on the cover (or back cover)
of the Digipak; the same pic xfansd mentioned in the "Ask Us" thread...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/X-Japan-hide-JA-ZO...=item4617af8fe6

And, its unrelated, but I thought I'd post this for a laugh! A 40in shark plush, bwahaha! XD

Zemunasu, I got headache to follow your explanation... why in the hell there are so many different versions of Ja,Zoo... LOL!

Honestly I'm not a huge collector, for me it's enough to have the physical releases of my favourite bands, and I would never buy different editions of the same albums just for a different package. But, we all know how music market work nowadays.

By the way, I'm glad you could finally get what you were looking for! contento.gif

Thank you, embryo6! smile.gif And yes! It gives me a headache too, haha XD
I don't understand why there are so many versions.

At first, I saw the Digipak with hide on the back, and thought "Hey, cool. That's what I just bought"...
But then the one I get has a different picture... O___o

I'm a pretty hardcore collector, so I'll probably end up buying the different versions when I can.
Then I can compare them! Whenever I do get them, I'll be sure to post pics >:D

Inxxane, I'm not that rich, really. The fact is that last year I saved a LOT of money for this so-long-waited trip.
Another important thing is that in Japan you can find many cds and vynils at prices that we in the west can only dream about. (I saw a Toshi's VHS on sale at 10 yen... man, that's less than 7 cents!!)

Eh eh, at first that day I found the CD version in the punk market, but they were selling it for more than 5000-6000 yen... So I decided to not buy it. Then, a few hours later I found the vynil version at the metal shop just for 2000 yen ah ah ah.
I asked to the nice girl at the desk about R0senfeld demo tapes, but they didn't have them of course. XD

Now I looked up, on Wikipedia sarcasmo.gif And it said it was released under Atlantic. Now I know some shit on there is wrong. But on my "Part II" it says "King Video"Lol see what I'm getting at? Plus the cover art looks odd... Anyone? Lol

PLUS I forgot to mention... The hard shell case isn't the same as all the other X VHS' I have lol
But I also kinda thought maybe it was replaced...

I got Visual Shock Vol.5 Part I & II on dvd so I cannot be 100% sure, but those vhs pics look fine, and the product code and the cover art are correct...
Please refer on this wonderful website to make sure, more than Wikipedia wink.gif

Yes it's not fake, the two VHS cases have different sizes and were released by different labels. I checked mine too, nothing wrong with your purchase:

Anyway, wow $60 it's quite expensive for that thing! I remember 6-7 years ago those VHS were very cheap on eBay.

Things arrived in the last three months:

I've searched for that Keiichi Ohta album for years!! Oh and the grey artwork of the top-right one is made with ash! The concept is "death".

IOSYS and Touhou stuff.

Still IOSYS, Mizue Takada and stuff from USA, but you could be interested the most in this recent Italian book: it's a deep and quite objective review about history and ideology behind National Socialist Black Metal and there are of course lots of infos about bands that just use nazi aesthetics. And you know what? I found Rommel and R0senfeld photos in there ah ah! It also mention Mein Kampf:
