Vector drawing

April ID by Dyna BladeCheck it at deviantART / Hi-Res image

I’ve been working more and more with Adobe Illustrator CS3, in order to get more skills to finish the X JAPAN chibis, I know I’ve been slacking a lot with them, but I don’t want to create mediocre renders that will disappoint, I want to be able to portray memorable renders and have Pan and Blues completely happy with the outcome.

I have not forgot about you, guys, I still have your back covered and I am still working in my abilities.
As Blues told me about X Radical Dreamers needing a logo, I’ve been trying to think about something neat to help them, that would be nice, they have been such great people to me and they deserve the same treatment from me.

This new drawing is completely made on Adobe Illustrator CS3 and is a test to improve my speed and skill with vectorization.

I’d like to invite any artist to color this drawing as a collab, of course, if you are willing to do it.
I’ll leave a link to the hi-res picture if anyone is interested, please let me know if you are willing to do it, and keep me posted if you want to publish it.

I hope you like it.

One more Stitchface!

This time, susannayouuu was the one to receive it, and posted some pics here.

I was a bit worried about the latest shipment, it was taking long, more than normal, but seems that the turnip finally arrived, I am relieved… So yeah, I’m glad about it, I hope more people order moar turnips, they are the biggest success after Totoro.

Time Travel – Plushies

Well, I have some pics of old plushies waiting for a triumphal return.

High Priest & Ninja / Ragnarök Online
Their faces are based on the references given by the client, they had custom things on their heads.

Link / The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons
That was one of the first commissions we had, asked by a college acquaintance, you can also see a small drawing I made thar ;3 The WiiMote was used to compare the actual size of Link.

Domo-Kun
This guy doesn’t need introductions, two Domo-Kuns were made in a fast schedule, the client is happy as hell.

Totoro / My Neighbor Totoro
A total of THREE Totoros were made, one small and two big ones like this, again, the client enjoyed it like crazy, he also ordered a Kodama from the Mononoke Hime movie, sadly, no pics available.

Quadra

New drawing, the bastard child of my boredom, hope you like it.

If anyone is willing to color it, let me know and show me the results =)
Sotherby shared his interest to work on collaboration with me, as in me drawing monsters and creatures and he should color them. I agreed, as I admire his work aaaaand, let’s see what happens next.

Captain Falcon

Finally got to take some pics to this awesome little guy, it was a commission for a smasher.

I know you people want one, just say the word. (Yes, this item is currently sold, but…if you are interested in having your own, click below or leave me a comment here on my blog)

Be sure to check out the store!

“I can hear you…”

I will copypasta the description:
Well, after the last drawing, I felt intrigued with asymmetric humanoid forms, not respecting the correspondence between left and right areas that are supposed to be similar.

I know this is plagued with mistakes, specially with the perspective, but I enjoyed doing it, hope you like it.

Sketches

In the meantime, looking for job, Skyos appeared from the nowhere and commissioned me with three drawings, so I shipped them to his place, casually arriving in his birthday, he was very excited about them (and so I was getting my first real commission with money as reward, and I mean -good- money), so he decided to commission me with three more drawings, which (happily) are the following (based on videogame characters):

Wander & AgroShadow of the Colossus
Elhaym “Elly” Van HoutenXenogears
Terra BranfordFinal Fantasy VI

So far, I am practicing drawing horses, which is costing me a lot of work, yet, they are really fun to draw.

I take the chance to post some progress on those practices. When I feel more comfortable with horses (and determine the main idea of the illustration) I will start the drawing.

Turnips!

Brad (Spacing_Out), from AllisBrawl.com, commissioned Agatha to create two stitchface turnips, commonly seen in Super Smash Bros. Melee, used by the Princess Peach.

The conditions, were that the turnips were as huge as basket ball, that meant, a lot of stuffing was needed, and the leaves were meant to be worked in order to make them more 3D instead of plain 2D pasties (yes, that required HOURS and HOURS of work). Also, the turnips were made to be resistant, as they might be used as the deadly weapons they are (they hurt, I can tell you that). Also, I was asked to sign both turnips =)

It was meant to arrive between mid-December to the first days of January, and seems like they finally arrived yesterday. Ain’t that amazing?

Also, seems that they are having big acclaim within the Super Smash Bros. scene, I hope they want something too.

gingerbreadchar, Brad’s girlfriend, happily received the package and seems that we have two happy customers right now, she also took pics, which shows to the world how awesome IRL stitchface turnips are. Thank you for the pics and for your support!
